About Us

Three smiling vendors at Christine's Garden farmer's market stand, wearing matching green shirts and hats. The table features baskets of fresh produce and a sign displaying the garden's name.

How it all Began

Christine's Garden is a small, one acre farm located in Modesto, CA. It all started back in 2010, when Christine's son, John, wanted to make a little bit of extra money for high school. He named his little "side hustle" Christine's Garden because that same year, Christine was diagnosed with breast cancer (in 2025, she celebrates 15 years being cancer free). Darrell (dad and grower) grew the vegetables and John got to deliver them. Even back then, the focus was on heirloom seeds and organic farming practices.

Fast forward to when John's sister, Noelle, convinced Darrell to bring the business back and the rest, as they say, is history. Today, Christine's Garden is run by Darrell, Noelle, Christine, and Noelle's husband, Alek. We are grateful and excited to continue sharing our delicious produce for years to come!
